《Sweet Surrender》John Denver

　　單單寫這首歌曲的歌名，大概沒有甚麼人會知道他是誰。可是如果說到《Take me home, Country Road》的時候，應該會冒出"喔"的一聲。我一直都覺得這種膾炙人口的歌曲通常都是出自於ABBA或者carpernters這樣的團體。事實上，這首歌曲已經不知道被多少人翻唱過了，連小野麗莎都拿去唱成Bossa Nova了，這首歌曲有夠可佈的。

　　但重點要回到《Sweet Surrender》身上。這首歌曲我是在上亞洲行的課程時聽到的，歌曲內容主要是說一個人對於他的未來飄渺不定感到不安，但後來還是決定任由它去；雖然未來看似很不確定，但歌者最後還是決定依照自己的方式活下去－－要活得如魚鳥般自在。這首歌讓我印象深刻的是，第一次唱一定會有點不知所措，因為他聽似有節奏，但卻有點捉摸不定。當你覺得是時候唱了，John Denver會比你晚了一秒才開口，就好像人生那麼的不確定。習慣了之後，就會發現這首歌其實很隨心所欲，想唱就唱，想拖拍就拖拍，最後要到副歌部分才會有真正解脫，循著一定的旋律和節奏走，行雲流水呢。

Sweet Surrender was made for a movie by Walt Disney. It had to do with Vietnam war coming home to the Northwest United States, wondering what was gonna do with the rest of his life.I thought about that and I think it was something that we all go through to one degree or another(這段不是很確定?). Out of the came(?) I suppose my philosophy, Sweet Surrender.

　　我想除了中文流行已外，西方音樂以鄉村音樂能首先取悅我，因為中文很少會有鄉村音樂，更何況周杰倫最近的牛仔太忙，一點悠閒的感覺都沒有，唉。試著翻譯一下歌詞，看不懂就算了。
